Why we’re sharing this

Some users have asked how Early Bird access works, especially around free databases and how future features or plans might affect them.

This post explains what Early Bird access means today and how we’re approaching free usage as dFlow continues to grow.

What Early Bird access includes

If you signed up for dFlow while Early Bird access was available, your account is eligible for:

  • One free managed database
  • Access based on when your account was created
  • No requirement to create a project or database immediately

The free database is tied to signing up during the Early Bird period, not to how or when you use the platform.

When you can use the free database

You don’t need to deploy anything right away.

If you created your account during Early Bird access, you can choose to create your database later. Eligibility is determined at signup, not at the time of resource creation.

How free access works going forward

We are still actively building and refining dFlow.

Many features are currently available at no cost while we finalize plans and usage limits. As the platform evolves, we’ll introduce clearer pricing and plan structures.

When that happens:

  • New users will be onboarded under the plans available at that time
  • Existing users will retain access to what was available to them at signup, within reasonable usage limits

Our goal is to avoid sudden changes and provide clarity well in advance.

About future features

Our roadmap includes additional managed services and deployment options.

Some of these features may be introduced as part of the free tier initially. Others may move into paid plans later once usage patterns and infrastructure costs are clear.

We’ll always communicate these changes ahead of time and ensure there’s a useful and generous free tier for individuals and small teams.

In summary

  • Early Bird access is based on when you signed up
  • Signing up during Early Bird makes your account eligible for a free managed database
  • You can choose to use the database at any time
  • Features may evolve as plans are finalized
  • A generous free tier will continue to be available

Terms and Conditions

  • Early Bird access applies only to accounts created during the Early Bird period
  • Free resources are subject to reasonable usage limits
  • Features and pricing may change as dFlow evolves
  • Changes will be communicated in advance where possible
  • Platform usage remains subject to dFlow’s general terms and acceptable use policies
